Programs and Initiatives

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has been at the forefront of public service since 1913. Our programs are carried out under our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

  1. Economic Development,
  2. Educational Development,
  3. International Awareness and Involvement
  4. Physical and Mental Health
  5. Political Awareness and Involvement.

Since its chartering in 2003, the Tampa Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter has engaged in a number of projects and events geared towards meeting the needs of our community.

The goal of the National Commission of Arts and Letters has been to boldly advance the black experience; highlighting the artistic contributions of African American people of the past and present and elevating them to public attention with particular emphasis on the positive roles of Black women.
