Our Chapter
The Tampa Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter (TMAC) was chartered in Tampa, Florida on April 21, 2003 by 63 dynamic and visionary women dedicated to advancing the mission of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action throughout the community. Serving portions of Hillsborough and Pasco counties, the chapter continues to make a meaningful impact through programs and initiatives designed to empower families, strengthen communities, and uplift future generations.
Grounded in the principles established by our illustrious founders, TMAC remains committed to promoting high moral standards, educational excellence, and community engagement within the African-American community and beyond. Through strategic partnerships, volunteerism, mentorship, and public service efforts, the chapter actively addresses issues affecting economic development, educational advancement, health awareness, and social equity.
TMAC proudly fosters a strong spirit of sisterhood among its members while creating opportunities for leadership, personal growth, and lifelong service. Whether through scholarship programs, youth initiatives, community outreach events, or advocacy efforts, the chapter continues to uphold a legacy of excellence and dedication that reflects the enduring vision and purpose of the organization.
